Let's kick it off here with some speculation that Warnock might be after Watford's Danny Graham this summer. Rs are linked with just about everyone else on earth at the moment, but Graham is one that sounds good to me! http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...friday_diary_–_qpr_step_up_interest_in_graham
And Graham goes down as the first whiff of the summer... Swansea City agree £3.5m deal with Watford for Danny Graham http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jun/07/swansea-city-sign-danny-graham
And they've switched their aim to Peterborough's Craig Mackail-Smith: http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...interest-in-peterborough-star-82029-28838328/
http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...h-the-cash-at-qpr-this-summer-82029-28828874/ "FLAVIO Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone are playing hardball over the new playing budget in the hope they can get away with less than £12million on summer transfers."
Yes please... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...y_–_warnock_says_results_will_decide_his_fate Grain of salt, of course
Another sign of our not-so-earth-shattering transfer agenda this summer... QPR keeper Radek Cerny has agreed a new one-year contract extension with the club.
With Kenny & Cerny, I'd say that's not a position that needs much of an infusion of talent/experience. He's not the greatest, but he's got a decent resume for a backup keeper in the Premier League.
QPR is targeting 29-year-old top soccer Javi Guerra from Real Valladolid. He scored 28 goals in 41 matches last season (2010-11). Seemingly, it's a risky gamble if the Super-Hoops acquires him through transfer. The pre-season transfer window in Spain re-opens on July 1 and closes on August 31. £1.25 million bid for DJ Campbell http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7011459,00.html Oh and lots of Twitter chatter this morning about Warnock resigning - club denies it. Honestly I'd be surprised if he makes it to the beginning of the season
Yep - it really should More info... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...diary_-_qpr_forced_to_deny_warnock_has_walked
NO NO NO NO NO Paris Saint Germain bid £10m for QPR's Adel Taarabt - report http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2011/07/01/2555916/paris-saint-germain-bid-10m-for-qprs-adel-taarabt-report
Apparently they've upped it to over £13 - and even worse - 40% of the fee goes to Spurs in a sell-on clause.
Maybe that's not all bad -- we don't have as much incentive to sell as it's less than 8m to us. That said, if a top club in the French league is willing to pay that much for him, it's going to be hard for us to keep him. Might be the perfect league for him.
Here's a weird one...I guess I trust bookies more than the taabloids... strange: http://news.ladbrokes.com/en-gb/foo...gest-a-takeover-could-be-imminent_068381.html
I'd rather have Mittal. Honestly, I think there's something very cool about an Indian family owning a club located in an area with such a large southeast Asian population, it could do wonders for our fan support over time.
So would I. This is out of the blue. A guy richer than Roman? Ugh. (I guess I should have put this in the Boards thread....)
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/qpr-expect-adel-taarabt-to-leave-2307315.html "QPR manager Neil Warnock has admitted that wantaway skipper Adel Taarabt looks set to leave Loftus Road this summer - but thinks the youngster will grow to regret his decision to leave the newly-promoted side." ... "He is missing his family in Marseille," Warnock told the London Evening Standard. "If we get a big offer from a club in France that obviously gives him a chance to be closer to them. That would be a big pull." ... "Flavio Briatore [QPR's co-owner] is dealing with the negotiations. He is keeping me informed of the situation and at this precise moment he won't be leaving because no one has met the asking price." ... "My advice to him is to stay until Christmas, get some experience and show people what he can do. That may fall on deaf ears unfortunately. It's sad. "I don't think I have ever spent so much time trying to get the best out of one individual and I think he will regret leaving." ... More at the link above. The bad news? Taarabt likely wants out. More bad news? The club is still being run by Briatore. The good news? The asking price is apparently more than £13.5 million.

Grain of salt, considering the source, but the Sun says Athletico Madrid is offering £11million for Taarabt. http://tribalfootball.com/articles/atletico-madrid-battle-psg-qpr-star-taarabt-1735321
