Is Davis thought to be a Center in the pros cause I'd think he might be a Garnett type tweener that can play forward no?

Yeah - that round is easy - what happens next? :)

    Spurs Grizz makes me nervous.

Having the Knicks upset the Heat might be a bit far-fetched at first glance, but when was the last time when we didn't at least have a minor upset in the first round? Memphis knocked off the Spurs as an 8-seed last year. And for some reason, everyone tipped Portland to upset the Mavs, but the opposite happened there.

In short, at least one first-round series will not go according to the script.

Yep Noah would be a fine #4.

Sorry no I'm not picking all the rounds at once. Because my predicted champ will probably get knocked out in Round 1, and then nothing will make sense.

The front office deserves some credit too.

I am absolutely convinced that the Bulls would wipe the NBA if you got rid of stars, if winning titles meant assembling & coaching role players. They are absolutely fabulous at that.

Let's look at yesterday's game vs. Cleveland. Here were the leading players for the Bulls by minutes played -

    Noah early draft pick
    Gibson late draft pick
    Butler late draft pick
    Lucas D league
    Brewer mid draft pick
    James D league

Four scrubs out of six. Cleveland played their scrubs too (no Kylie). And the Bulls won by 32. Not because they had the fancier players, or more talent. But because they have been taught to play much much better basketball.

Of course, the NBA has stars and the Bulls have only one of those, so they might not win the title. But if so, it won't be because they get beaten by coaching.

We'll see if you want to be anywhere near bigsoccer on Monday :)

I'm going to move these prediction posts to a new playoff thread unless y'all want to just rename this and keep this thread going through playoffs.

I am open to having a whole new playoff thread and closing this. That is what he have been doing in the past and it seems to move things to be more organized.

DK - lol we could have our brief mini Real Madrid board meltdown (haha Shay :D), but actually the best, most active, and productive post and convo happens when we do lose. I cannot wait to see the new BS after the upgrade. Kudos for that and good luck.

Man, my obsession with LBJ has no limits. What a stellar performance vs the knicks.he completly torched them in game 1

Its 20 point difference for heat now, at one point they were leading by 31

What?!?! Sorry I am doing an event and out of the loop. That sucks.

Forget all this Gibson or record without Rose notion, this is playoffs... it is over.

I think they might get past Philly (only watched the first two quarters and then had to leave for work at the half) and Philly is still shit anyways, but I do not see them getting past Boston.

Edit - wow just saw the NY Miami score on my app. gheezuz.

The nonRose Bulls are playing fantastic. Good chance they will beat Boston/Atlanta. The Bulls beat Boston twice this year without Rose. Miami, ummm nope, Bulls beat them twice without Rose as well but Miami will be different in playoffs. Not happening.

But hard to care, to be honest.

For next year, Steve Nash needs a ring ...

It sure will not happen in Phoenix. Time to part ways if he wants a ring.

    Seriously ...

    1) Turf toe
    2) Back
    3) Groin
    4) Ankle
    5) Foot
    6) ACL

Plagues and locusts come next, or maybe it's the river turning into blood.

I'm not sure about Chicago beating Boston but worst part is Miami became shoe in for finals unless Boston can stop them.

The other terrible news is the same thing I said when Rossi went down - acl's come in pairs.

Not wanting to kick poor D-Rose when he's down, but his injury troubles just highlight how incredibly durable AI's body was.

Also, is it too late to re-neg on my Knicks prediction?
