    Re: Takayuki Morimoto's Thread [R]

Morimoto is tipped to go to Sampdoria who have just been relegated to Serie B. Good move I think, the coach there is Atzori who was in charge of Catania for a little while and always started Morimoto.

Sampdoria would be perfect for Morimoto to ressurect his carreer imho.
High chances of being a starter and play on a team likely to score many goals and win the Italian second division.

Look like ist serious. They have been more sources that the Lokomotiv offer is real. This would be a very good move for him to step up his carrer for a come back, there are much more worse clubs to play for than a "solid" russian club that reached the 5h place last season and that's mean he would play in the European League then ;D.Great !!!

Its a new club,so a new chance and I don't think that they offer 4-5 million euro for an benchwarmer. He will get his chances for sure in Moskau and then it's up to him if he can use them or not.

Agreed. I've read through that article and found nothing more than that Novara's interested in Morimoto :)

No matter how much I learn about him I can't make up my mind on what his problem has been. Lack of opportunity is the easy one especially after the injury he suffered but it might be more complicated. Might be more a lack of fellowship or even family and gf or something else altogether football related or unrelated but whatever it is I always wonder what it is that separates those who manage to perform at crunch point and those who struggle.
