http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/General/0,,1004~2596825,00.html As Miyaichi is to join the first training sessions at Bolton today, I guess it's time for a thread.
Miyaichi named in the match day squad against Norwich City. http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/eusoccer/1112/headlines/20120203-00000157-jij-spo.html
Only the provisional matchday squad so far (22 players), the final 18 will be named only on the day before kickoff. He's been in his fair share of arsenal provisional squads. Though I'm sure he'll get at least a go on the bench to begin with. Doubt he'll start this weekend, cause Bolton have had a good run of form recently so surely the coach will want to keep things going the same for now.
Would be awesome if he played a role in helping Bolton get out of the relegation scrap, similar position to where Feyernoord were last season, although it's probably asking too much.
I don't see why he can't help that relegation battle. The best few dutch teams are better than the lower half of the EPL (at least bottom 8) and he did well against them. ------------Edit: Kato it turns out he will be in the matchday squad https://twitter.com/#!/OfficialBWFC/status/165382300731842561
Of course there will be. http://www.freefootball.eu/upcoming.php http://veetle.com/index.php/listing#sports/popular/1 http://unisports.me/index.php http://atdhenet.tv/ http://firstrowsports.bz/ Bookmark these sites.
... Most likely he just needs some training with the team in order to meld in better instead of just throwing him onto the field a week after transfer without a feel of his teammates.

Bolton new boy Ryo Miyaichi scored a stunning goal in a man-of-the-match display to push his claims for a Premier League start. The Japanese flier, who's on loan from Arsenal, notched the only goal against Preston and dazzled with his skills and pace in front of boss Owen Coyle. Miyaichi, 19, may have done enough to put himself in the side for Saturday’s relegation clash with Wigan.
I don't think he'll start just yet, but who knows. There weren't any quotes so I won't jump to that conclusion yet. Surely he's won a place on the bench.
It sounds like a pretty important match for Bolton against Wigan, I hope he's done enough to get a place on the bench. If they're winning comfortably there's no harm in bringing him on, this wait is excruciating.
According to Coyle this afternoon, Ryo will be on the bench this game. I'm extremely happy for the lad. He deserves his chance to shine after a brilliant few months in the Netherlands.
omg Ryo just had a 1 v 1. Soo unlucky. Shot was on target, Al Habsi made a great save. He's looking pretty good when on the ball.
