The bench feels the same in the EPL as it does in the Bundasliga...sorry Hasebe!

Yeah, but he was never a bench player..only a few games per Season. He played from the first day at Wolfsburg maybe 80-90% off all games in a Season. Doen't matter which player Magath and Co was buying...Hasebe made his way.Sure he has his bad games at Wolfsburg but even there he was one of the best in the team.

So no way that he grows to a bench warmer in the EPL, he can make it there and he would, when he change to England, don't worrie. Maybe Hasebe is not the best player in the world but he has something very special and that is his unbeaten mind to play, doesn't matter what comes. Kagawa was the trendsetter for japanese players in Germany and Europe but Hasebe made the first step after Nakamura,Takahra and Inamoto change back to Japan and I say it again and again =)...he made his way through everything. He won the J-League and he won the German Bundesliga,he played in the CL and in the European League. He is a VERY sucessfull player but it's hard to play in an chaos club like Wolfsburg become in the last 2 years.

Well simply he is キャプテン Hasebe! :D

The only thing I don't wanna see is him as a sub for SBs... He deserves MORE...

Now that Miyaichi gets to Arsenal, all these dummies in the EPL start looking at Japanese players........

I'd prefer......hmm.......considering he won't play for another german team, I suppose EPL is alright.

QPR seems to be the most likely destination at the moment

    Please no.

Sure, they're ambitious and they've spent a lot of money on quality players. But Hasebe would most likely be a squad player. I also have a really bad feeling about how their season's gonna turn out. Tony Fernandes pretty much threw paint against and wall and hopes that something good'll come out; they seem to have zero team chemistry and I can't imagine it's a great atmosphere to be part of.

And where's this from? Presumably Hochi or Sponichi?

EDIT: From Harada, huh. Seems like he's as well connected as any Japanese in England on these issues.

to be fair he doesn't appear to have "real" connections. Anyway, I would be ok with this. If they buy Julio Cesar, I'm sure they will recover that horrible beginning.

QPR would be the best scenario, the worst being Wolfsburg keeping on their ass act and asking a transfer fee for a player who has always been good and loyal. They have like 134 players in their squad, his departure won't hurt them that much.

The question is on what is Harada basing these - in the tweet he says that these are rumours and possibilities... so it seems like he's just suggesting what is best re: Hasebe in his opinion.

All right, not even on the bench. Usually it's a good sign... but let's not jump to conclusions (if he still had no offers he would probably play to convince someone like Yoshida)
