I know I shouldn't take the U-22 game against Egypt at face value since they were fasting and their players werent' in their best condition but Yamada looked really good, so I'm hoping that he could replace Endo by 2014.
I so wanted Yamada to do well years ago and still do. Make up for the lost months double time. RE defence I think and hope qualifiers start off tame enough so we can cope while testing few bits here and there. Maya can't be that bad in asia surely.
What about Yamamura from U23 team? I read that he was playing the "Endo" role for the U23, but his desire is to play CB. Depending on whatever he picks, he could fill either #1 or #2 for 2014/2018. I just noticed he wasn't in the squad that played Egypt yesterday. I wonder why
