You think you can see a MASSIVE team for a less-than-massive price?
Considering a league game 3 days before and these teams not MLS, I suspect we will be seeing the massive B team.
Apparently the Rochester/Pittsburgh game will be streamed online Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh at Rochester kicks off at 7:00 pm tonight.
Live streaming video should be available here:
Winner comes to Crew Stadium next week.
The game has started.
Rochester already up 1-0! (in the 3rd minute)
Rosenlund with a nice run into the 6 yard box that Pittsburgh defenders didn't bother to cover. A nice pass right into him and he scores a very easy goal.
For anyone tuning in, Rochester wearing white and black stripes, Pittsburgh wearing all black.
Aaron Pitchkolan with a low grasscutter (though it's artificial) from about 25 yards straight out makes it 2-0 for Rochester after 9 minutes.
Pittsburgh putting on some fair pressure. One of their players got sliced down in the box, but there was no PK called. (Ref missed that one, should've been down to a 2-1 lead.)
Rochester has more players in the box than Pittsburgh does, and another nice cross is sent in to Rosenlund for yet another very easy goal.
3-0 Rochester 66th min.
And that's that. Rochester wins 3-0.
Next Tuesday (June 29) at Crew Stadium:
Rochester at Columbus Crew, USOC Third Round
Revenge for last year on our turf.
This will also be the Dilly Duka "Put up or shut up" Classic.
booooo i wanted Pittsburgh to win!
I'll be screaming for a second coming of the Saint Duncan Bicycle Kick. It, like Jesus, only appeared once in recorded history.
