We can also do the "We F#8&ing Hate New York" but that seems more of get revved up at the tailgate thing as opposed to in the stands.

Also was completely awesome on the way in to the bedpan, with the guy already inside doing the 15 years.

With all the anti-NY stuff we have, I think it will be the best atmosphere all year.

If we never did "Glory, Glory Philadelphia", I'd be happy as shit.

We aren't ManUnited. Some of us are very, very against ManUnited. There's no reason to take their song.

If we wanted to use the tune, it would make sense to use the Solidarity Forever version.

"Philadelphia Forever, for the Union makes us strong."

It's not their song, it's our song. The original lyrics--before the tune got borrowed for the "Battle Hymn of the Republic"--included a verse with the lyrics "Now give three cheers for the Union, as we go marching on!"

No, I know. I'm just saying...it's pretty generally understood as a ManU song. I would like it if we changed the chorus from "Glory, glory" to "Philadelphia forever". That way we could keep the first verse with the reference to the Union and the melody, without sounding like we're ripping it off.

I really do like the Glory Glory aka Battle Hymn song even though it is mostly known for ManU. So I'm down with changing the line to Philadelphia Forever. It's a little awkward sounding at first but we'll get used to it.

I would be down for a lyric change. I've been itching to sing this chant for a long time now, but if it is being done it never makes it to 135.

Can someone explain to me how the old macdonald tune goes for the 15 years and no cup? I can't seem to wrap my head around the middle section where you would be talking about what a farm animal would sound like.

    Hows does :

    Fifteen years, fifteen years,
Fifteen years that they’ve been here, still,

    Fit into:

with a moo moo here and a moo moo there,
here a moo there a moo everywhere a moo moo.

Reading back, I kind of sound like a douche. I apologize. I shouldn't have been so "RA RA DON'T USE THAT". I've liked the idea of Solidarity Forever all season, and the "glory, glory" thing just really annoys me. Philadelphia Forever I think does sound good once you're used to it.

And whoever originally posted the Old McDonald made a mistake, should be the "There was a farmer who had a dog, and Bingo was his name-o" song.

Well anything is better than "just can't get enough" on the song sheet. Why in the name of christ would anyone sing that?

Video is almost ready. It's in post production.

To chant repetitively after we beat NYRB 1-0 (or 2-0 or 3-0 or whatever...)

To the tune of "New York, New York":

Da Da Da di Da, Da Da Da di Da, Da Da Da di Da, Da...(shouted) ONE NIL!

I know that I posted something similar a number of pages back, but I'd like to post this revised one now.

To the tune that we did the Connor Casey's illigitemate song (I'm blanking on the real name all of a sudden)

    Your owners give people heartattacks
Fifteen years no cups so dont talk smack
Your mothers turn tricks while on their backs
    Go back to New Jersey!

Angel is reported to likely to leave NY after the season. We should chant:

You'll Have No Pablo Angel (clap)

As a play on their chant "There's One Pablo Angel"

Lol @ 1:32 the dirty backwards look the blond chick gives you standing at the front of the rail. I think you ruined her day.

I also loved the smirk on Califf's face.

Eh they all hated us. We just amped up the vulgarity the more they did that stuff.

And yeah, Califf was cracking up the whole time. We sang, "You should have broke his ankles" and stuff like that when he came out.

When we were doing it at half, Zimmerman and someone else sauntered in after all the other players, and they were laughing and clapping.
