Yeah, I figured they can't but it just seems ridiculous that a "home" game will be packed by the "away" fans. But hey, the Phillies are usually better on the road so we'll see what happens. :D

Games are already sold out I believe. I was only able to get 2 for Saturday's game.

That R.A. Dickey...wow. Can't wait till you throw him to the scrap heap so we can snatch him up for our bullpen.

    What? It's October already?

Con you guys at least score one run? Make it a game?

One run wouldn't make it a game.

I am shocked that you all don't see the absolute beauty in this. I love it. The Phillies are genius'. We are getting smoked this series on purpose. Think about it, in a normal world would the Mets ever stand a chance? Exactly! No! However by losing in such convincing fashion we're protecting Manuel and Minaya's jobs for at least until the All-Star break, thereby ensuring that you won't be a threat come the end of the season.

That Chollie Manuel is a g-e-n-i-u-s.

That's about as insidious as throwing up on a cop and his kid.

Look, I hate losing to a last place team as much as the next guy. And even more so when it's the Mets.

But let's face it. Eddie beat me to the punch here. 6 days ago the entire Mets fan base was looking at their last place team and wanting Jerry and Omar fired.

This morning after a series win against the Yankees, and on the precipice of a sweep of the two time defending NL Champions, the Mets are, wait.....

    still in last place.

But they are now one game over .500, and there is renewed hope and people believe that this last place team can rise again and that Jerry and Omar will have their jobs for the entirity of the 2010 season. And some people even believe that unlike his last start against the Phils, that maybe Big Pelf will make it out of the 4th inning tonight.

Congrats, folks. You've just been huckstered.

Uniondale is a hamlet not a city, Douchebag.

Oh wait, we're on the same side until October.

Looks like rain will save the Phillies from another embarrassment tonight.

Did you guys leave your binoculars in Philly or something? Christ, try putting up a run or two in August.

In your fair city today/tonight. Be at Nevadas at 6pm. Manhattan makes me feel dirty.

    How shocking.

The Mets lose on the road and Santana is done in again. Good to see things are back to normal.

Congrats ladies. I hope you enjoyed your moment in the sun. You climbed out of last place, went beyone .500, ensured Jerry and Omar's stay for the season and now it's the reminder that....well...you're just not very good.
