I'd be a little surprised but not shocked at 12K. I'm expecting closer to 14K though. I'd be as stunned as I imagine Dallas fans were with 8K if Colorado is below 10K on Saturday, barring Friday's storm holding out until Saturday.
I say move the Rapids to Dallas and the Burn to Denver. But I do care, Mr. Warmth. I mean, if you don't care about the Sounders, how will the 32,000 Sounders season ticket holders sleep at night? (that's the kind of thing I'm expected to say, right? Just trying to live up to the rep.)
Instead the TFC SG's are organizing their first away trip of the season to New England instead. I'm interested to see if they can approach the nearly 2,000 they've been known to get to go to Columbus seeing as Boston/Foxboro is a longer trip.
Wouldn't know. I don't have a passport so the only game I travel to is the NCC game in Montreal. If you have to choose one city to travel to there are worse choices than Montreal.
Are the Revs playing in MLS this season? Oh, I see in the standings that they've even played a game!!! Who knew?
and yet you skipped Columbus because of the overwhelming gendarme presence? Enjoy the Masshole State Police.
That's the funniest part. If they thought the Columbus cops were bad, I'm looking forward to the horror stories about their encounters with the Staties.
One of Loney's gems to CFKA Metrofan that was going to kick his ass when MLS Cup when it was at Gilette: Loney: Ok, sure, we can meet up and fight. I'll be dressed as a Massachusetts State Trooper. You come up and kick me in the ass and scream "I'm a child molesting cop killer", so I'll know it's you.
there will be some there, for sure, but given that it is a Wednesday night game it will restrict how many can make it to Harrison.
On the 3rd day of work each week we get double time.....our socialistic tendancies are why we suffered the greatest decline of all of the industrialized countries...it is, frankly, why all of our banks went out of business and needed massive bailouts from our government.....it is remarkable that anyone has any money left at the end of the week to afford soccer tickets...really!
I think it had more to do with the Crew organization and Columbus Police putting all the blame for the problems on TFC's traveling supporters. The SG's asked for an apology from the Crew and didn't get one so they boycotted this year.
