sounds like a good player to have in the team with his experience, I'm excited about Ryan Dickson though. The season can't start soon enough!

I saw the Poopey news on Soccernet this morning and was bursting with laughter for about 10 minutes and have had a smile on my face all day and all night lastnight after seeing the result then! If the club who are 2nd bottom in the MLS can whomp you 4-0 then you know you suck :) Come on you SAINTS!!!! Let's show the skates how to go from lower leagues to the Premeir League and stay there!

1-0 loss a bit unfortunate to start of the season especially at SMS but we had our chances and just didn't put them away and unfortunately they put just about their only chance away. Carling Cup match against Bournemouth on Tuesday and then a weekend game away to MK Dons. Let's hope Rickie is back for the weekend and bag himself a hat-trick! :)
Still a long way to go in the season, come on you Saints!!!

I was said to see that happen. May he rest in peace.

What does this mean for the Saints?

They're thinking that everything will stay on course with the plans he had for the club. It's really up to his family and Cortese with moving the club forward but I've read that they are going to follow his plans he laid out

Padew sacked! WTF IS GOING ON?!?!?!
Especially after a 4-0 win, but I can't see a reason for his job to be anywhere close to being considered. He has done wonders for us, can't name one single signing of his that's been a bust, I feel for him. And apparently they're throwing out Sven as a possible replacement??? Please God NO!!!! Wouldn't mind seeing Martin O'Neil, but honestly don't understand this decision whatsoever, I think that Pardew was our man to lead us back to the Premier League..

Beagrie speculating that it was a personality clash

Maybe this decision stems from the sad death of Markus Liebherr. He was perhaps Pardew's biggest ally in the boardroom and new chairman Nicola Cortese clearly wasn't particularly enamoured with the manager, for whatever reason.

Frustrating draw with Colchester @St. Mary's today.
