I'm interested to see how each team approaches this one. I am hearing that the Spurs will rest some guys tonight but haven't heard who. Pop has indicated he's more concerned with rest and health than holding off Chicago.
These Bulls games are becoming so predictable... -- Bulls fall behind by 8 to 12 points in the first quarter due to some uninspired team defense <cough> Boozer <cough> -- The Bulls bench reels the opponent back in so that by halftime they're only down by 2 to 6 points -- Coach Thibs tears the team a new one during halftime for giving up way too many easy buckets -- Bulls start the second half on fire by clamping down on what was effective for the opponent during the first half -- Rose has a handful of jaw-dropping plays that makes you forget he's a point guard -- The game tightens in the fourth quarter, but thanks to clutch scoring by Rose the Bulls win another game despite not playing a complete 48 minutes.
Yep. Every effing game the first unit jogs defensively, then the second unit plays ball, then the third quarter the first unit tries hard, then it's over. Every damn time. Boozer jumps like a white guy and plays defense like Barkley.
I don't think San Antonio cares about this game..lol... At least the Red Rocket is playing. I guarantee he will make at least five three point shots.
The Lakers even seem like they do not care. I am getting bored and these announcers are getting on my nerves.
For such an accomplished post player, he sure does get his shot blocked a hell of a lot. Of course, as a fellow under-sized post player that jumps like a white guy, I don't consider that a significant detraction. As long as he's tenacious on the offensive glass, his shot getting blocked doesn't concern me. But his defense can be downright atrocious. There are times in the game (usually during the first quarter) where you can actually see him recognize that he should be sliding over to cover for defensive rotations and yet he can't be bothered. In that regard, he's nearly the anti-Taj Gibson. But Boozer's low post presence adds something to our team offense that is invaluable.
That is effin great. It is just as worse as these second stringers are being competitive against our superstars. In my underdog sentiments, I am rooting for Spurs - just a little
He sure doesn't seem like a Thibs guy. But he is the only post-up player for the Bulls so although he annoys me I think he's necessary. The Bulls' interior defense is shaky right now with Noah not himself, if he's alright then he can cover for Booz.
The replay does not look good. Even if we win, since this games has no sense of urgency, we are still gonna be in s lazy slump. Bynum is gonna have a MRI tomorrow and will miss the next game.
Just read a live chat and they were saying that he's wearing a brace that may have saved his acl - could be season ender or nothing.
Haven't the Lakers done well without Bynum anyway? Not sure that's a killer for the Lakers if he's done. Sure is injury prone it seems though.
