I am a strongesta fan, but I would have to say that Bolivar has it this year unless they totaly have a miserable time with injuries. If for some reason Bolivar would choke, which could happen. Its a toss up between Wilsterman and Oriente. I like Oriente with Arce, Castillio, Campos.

I think Oriente has a good running. With the players they have, they really should work on counter attacks.

This is going to be a very interesting year.

i agree with atsegnorts, Oriente would be second on the list. Their downfall is if Arce does get picke up by a team, not that they dont have other players to fill his spot but he would be a huge loss. Bolivar is stacked they have the heavy load to prove everyone right though, and high expectations are as bad as injuries.

Hey i got an idea if someone with a little more time could start a game selection thread. Like they have for the Libertadores. So everyone in this thread can be more up to date with the liga. Someone would post that weeks games and then everyone could cut and paste the games and add their scores. and the day after the last game the person running the thread could tally up the points and post a running score. (gues the correct winner 2 points, guess the correct score 3 points) That would keep everyone in touch with whats going on in bolivia. I would so do it but i am going on vacation this week and probably won't have access like i do here for a couple of weeks. anyone ??????:)

^^^ Not a bad idea, unfortunatly (or fortunatly) IM ON A PLANE TO BOLIVIA ON FRIDAY!!! So the best I can do for you guys before I leave is this:

    Segunda fecha (15 de febrero)

    Universitario - Bolívar
    The Strongest - Nacional Potosí
    Blooming - La Paz FC
    Aurora - Wilstermann
    Real Mamoré - Oriente
    Real Potosí - San José

I have Bolivar over la U, Tigre empatando w/ Nacional, Blooming over LP, Aurora over Wilster, Oriente big over Mamore, and El equipo santo pulling the upset of the week!

I'll be checking the results from THE MOTHERLAND of course - DONT HATE...

I'm going to feel bad for Oriente in June. Castillo and Arze are likly going to be long gone by then. Sad.

Possibility that Arze sticks around, but not likely.

My plan is to hopefully catch one game at least. I'll take some pics for everyone, dont worry.

Ur right 1MADDOG, Arce and Castillo dont seem likely to stay, but has anybody expressed interest? It seems like Arce's stint in Korea was a wash. Good for everybody else I guess, Oriente seemed to be a real contenter with that line up.

So a couple of our posters are in Bolivia? niiiiiiiice, have fun boys, I'm very jealous.

Blooming just canned Apaza as their DT after a little over a month, really dissappointed at the dirigentes for screwing the whole season so early. I mean really? five weeks in charge? Well there goes the season for blooming:rolleyes:

The league is full of bad trainers and coaches. This league will only get better with better trainers and nutritionists...... oh yeah and more money and organization could help.

    Wasn't Bolivar doing pretty good?

    Truth.

Bolivar isnt doing to well though, recently losing(to Real Potosi) and tying in the last minute to Nacional. They like all bolivian teams lose it in the dying minutes.

But i have faith overall this season they will end up on top.

Jair Reynoso is SICK!!!! Can you believe that guy was playing in a local latin league in Miami before playing for bolivar and in his second season tearing up our league? This kid def. is going somewhere at the end of this season.

Why cant the MLS find these guys that are at local leagues?

Well in his defense, bolivia's league has recently as Cabera produced a pretty good forward that can produce outside of bolivia, or hell look at botero. He stayed scoring for us in the WCQs. I hope Jair succeeds when he leaves bolivar cause at this point its almost a given.

Hes really young too at like 22 YRS old!!!!!

Is this dude fast? We have enough talented peeps in Bolivia, but we have almost NO dudes with speed.

I saw him play agains both la U and real potosi. He is FAST, and you can tell his is hungrey for more. About him being really really good I would say no. He is above average in Bolivia and that is because of his speed. He lacks ball controll he rarerly carries the ball or attacks defenders with the ball. But he is very smart he knows where to be on the field and he is FAST without the ball especially on a quick counter or long balls
