What does the 3rd kit look like?

I never understand 3rd kits when you are not in either of the European tournaments as they always come off as money grabs in my opinion. That said, I sometimes end up buying them as they know they got me.

Still a nice shirt, and likely to be limited edition as recent previous 3rd kits have been.

 

I got the LS in the home. I think the away looks good long sleeve and I envision the 3rd kit as short sleeve in my future.

 

Anyone ordered/received the new shirt yet? Hows it look in person? Still debating buying one myself.

 

I ordered and received a Long sleeve new home jersey with Tevez on it from the online team shop.

I like it. I like how the material is different from most jerseys.

 

Would have been nice if it had the collar too, but I really can't complain much about that kit.

which names is everyone getting on the various home,away, and/or 3rd jerseys this year?

 

I got Tevez on my Home. I want to go with Ireland but I don't know if I would do that on the black or the white one. I want to go with either Santa Cruz or Wright-Phillips on the opposite jersey of what I go with Ireland.


I usually go with my nickname(AZSEAN which is short for my ID name on most boards like this one and I go with 77 short for lucky 777) but I figured I would go with players I really dig and feel will do something special for the Blues.

I was at the Barnsley game earlier, and there was a lad there wearing the new 3rd kit, it looked really smart ...

Had a quick chat with him, and told me he was given it by City management during the South Africa trip. That's a nice touch by our club, and good reward to the fans who went out there to support our club

 

I went with Ireland with the away and Tevez for the home, both in Long sleeve. I guess I will have a little time to think about whom to get on the 3rd kit as didn't someone say that isn't out till October?

I'm getting the blue or maybe the green gk jersey! no names, i usually get one with a name later on in the season of the better performer on the away or 3rd kit, i dont want to curse them at the beginning... also I dont want to risk getting an obsolete player, remember Bianchi!??!

 

I look forward to October now when the 3rd kit becomes available.

 

As much I want the new home shirt... I just CANNOT afford $85 for another shirt right now. If anyone knows of a retailer in the states that is carrying the new kit, please let us know. 15 pounds for delivery is the extra expense that makes it out of my touch.

 

I plan on pre-ordering the 3rd kit this Friday when it becomes available online.
