I really like the black one, and the normal sky blue one is very good as well. Not a fan of the white one though.

I'll prob get the black one with Barry on the back :)

I liked last year's white shirt with the little patch of blue below the shoulder. The blue looks pretty good, i think its a better shade of blue than this season's kit

I think they will all be MUCH better than the shirts we've had lately. Black and green? Hell yeah!

    I have to agree...

Nice 70's retro feeling and the smaller "Etihad" logo under the badge rather than plastered all over the front was surprising but welcome :)

    kits debut tomorrow!!

I have to say umbro was the perfect switch. on their website they have really made a big deal out of the kit launch and have designed a nice site dedicated to it along with festivities tomorrow.

can't wait. the England kits are pure class and it looks like they poured a lot of love into City's kits this year.

I think only the home kit debuts tomorrow, we have to wait until August for the others.

The white away is a nice shirt, I like it better than the usual red and black(too Milanish for me). Very good job Umbro.

I saw the new home one at the main website and they look nice especially with the new sponsor. Something just looks right on that one. I can't explain.:p

    None. I'm a dork when it comes to kits. I go blank on the back for a couple reasons;

    1. Don't have to worry about having a kit with a players name, only for said player to leave the next season.

    2. My dad told me one time that names/numbers on kits were good for kids, but adults should go blank. Stupid logic that he never really clarified, but like a lot of odd things my pops has told me over the years I donno, it just stuck with me.

    3. This is simply a B.S. reason I only use because it makes me feel like a snob, but one I love saying. Going blank on the back is my own personal way of saying that I support the club and that nothing on the back of the kit is more important than what's on the front... :D. Like I said, completely hollow bullcrap and self indulgent... :p. And a load of bull on top of that, but using this reason usually gets some interesting responses.

If I'm going to put something on the back, a number is enough.

Actually, that is pretty cool. I don't usually get a player's name as I have gone usually with my an abbreviated version of my nickname AZSEAN and 77(my lucky number is 777) as my logic is that while players come and go, I remain as a fan.

In this case, I went with Tevez. I was a fan of his style of play and I also despise the Rags soooooooooooooo much that I will get nothing but joy when I walk around at work with his jersey and irk my Rags supporter friend.:p

Well see that's a better reason FOR getting a name on the back than anything I came up with..... :D

I very much like the blue kit, and black isn't bad, either. I'm one who does like the sponsor on a jersey, and I love the Etihad logo, much more than Thomas Cook (not that that particular opinion is of any import, but whatever).

Too broke these days for a jersey, but I'll take blue.

Well I hear that the blue home kit will be relseased in the US in 8/25 (in stores I imagine). I should have a little cash infusion by then:D I'm considering putting a name and number on the back, but that's something I'm not entirely sure about.

I do think the new sponsor seems to blend into the jersey really nice.
