Thanks Mikey. Time to plan my Myrtle Beach golf/Battery soccer trip again. Hope to see you again this summer. I have an absolute blast at Battery games. Perhaps someone can favor me with an answer to this question: Is the three lions package worth the price? I've been a season ticket holder for two years now (at Standard and Battery Club levels), and have considered the Three Lions Club package both times, but ultimately decided I could spend that money better elsewhere. Now I'm once again pondering the Three Lions Club package and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not it's worth the extra amount.
welcome to the boards TLM I suppose it depends. with the three Lions package, you get a pretty good pre-game buffet. They change it up game to game so it always something new. They have had salmon, steak, pork lion, so its a real meal not just pizza or something. if you take advantage of that for each match, its can pay for itself. Plus as a three Lions member you get tickets to all additional matches (USOC, and post season matches) If the Battery goes far, that could end up being an additional 5 or 6 match tickets you dont have to buy. Add in Free parking for all matches and your in like flint. It is also a geat way of getting to know the players as they always come up to the pub after the matches (must be in their contracts) If you have never been up to the pub before, I highly suggest checking it out. It is open to everyone on thursday nights usually strarting around 5 or so until late. they sureve food and all the drinks while the Battery's Over 35 and Over 45 leagues are playing at the stadium on Thursdays.
Thank you. I think I'm going to give the pub club a go this season. I get the parking with Battery club, but the food is probably a step up from the tent. Hopefully I'll see everyone over at Blackbaud.
