I've always been of the opinion that shooting isn't the point guards job. Now, with all these Arenas, CP, Williams, Parker type guards around that might sound stupid. But even though Kidd can't shoot to save his life he's been one of the best ever. Sessions looks to be a fantastic floor leader and passer. With Redd and Jefferson on your team you shouldn't be shooting much anyway.

I'm not sold on Magic. I don't think Turk will have that kind of season again and he was their best player. With that rediculous Lewis contract they're not gonna be a player in free agency in half a decade. I could see Heat passing them this season if they stay healthy and get a decent low post rebounder and defender.

Any of you interested in having a fantasy league on yahoo? If yes we can talk about the setup.

I'll make a league as soon as registration is open and post info here. Hopefully we get a couple joining.

Live draft then yes? Rotisserie or H2H?

    I have a slight preference for H2H.

I'm down. I ran one last season with about 4 guys here from BS on yahoo and won:p. I also favor H2H.

On a completely different note, I've heard rumors that the Heat may try to sign Marbury. If that were to happen that would leave us with 4 PG, with Banks being the odd man out. Personally I don't think he can help out too much, especially with all his injuries and off the court issues. If he had been playing at least mediocre the last few seasons then he would have no place to go but up. Since that hasn't been the case, I'd rather give the playing time to someone else with more upside, like Banks or Chalmbers. I wouldn't mind seeing Livingston on the Heat, but I think he may head else where.

As for Heat signing Marbury, I don't know why Riley would do that. He knows what kind of player and person Steph is. He has all the talent in the world but he's stupid and a loser.

I was thinking maybe fear of a repeat season like last year's, but they got a couple of great draft picks and Wade is fit, so there's really no reason to. Signing Marbury is just bringing drama and headaches.

Exactly. And they have Marion as well. Heat could be a very good team, unless they sign Marbury.

So we are five then. We'll just leave it open so others can join too if that's ok with you guys.

So when is a good time to have a draft? I'm on Central European Time.

Is there a link for the fantasy basketball league? I've never played the yahoo version(just the NBA.com one) but I'd be up for it.
