Even if the Cavs are only Lebron and Mo on offense, their defense is still decent. I cant see them getting swept imo.

Pau is so soft, I'd wager Ben Wallace or Varejao getting to him. Lamar Odom is the biggest waste of talent in the NBA.

I stil think the Lakers will win it, but it doesnt seem that straight forward to me.

I was just asking Lobato, since he tends to make opinions without backing them up. :)

    Btw, nice double posting.

I don't see that either. But again, you guys (Are you a Cavs fan?) are already counting yourself in the finals. You need to go through the East (ahem Miami) first, which is truly tough. The only threat I see for the Lakers in the west is Portland. I'm counting on Houston to take them out. If not we are going to have a a hell of a fight, to which we'll come out of on top. Barely.

Pau can be soft at times, I give you that. Bynum on the other hand....

    LMAO!!! Good one...

    I agree.

And they were blown out by the Hawks in Game 1. If you can't beat the Hawks in Atlanta, how the hell are you going to beat the Cavs in Cleveland???

One game. We lost to the Bobcats, where are they now? Miami will bounce back. You don't realize how dangerous they are. Like I said, they are the only team in the east capable of beating the Cavs...

Mario and Wade play great defense and we got Beasley and J. O'neal in the inside.

But you still got blown away by the Hawks.

Let's see if Wade redeems himself tonight...

Like Lobata stated, it was the first game. Now if they sweep us then thats a different story. Hopefully, he will because we really need to win this game and then win all of the games in Miami.

IMO I believe the Hawks are more of a threat to the Cavs than the Heat. The Hawks have a nice lineup and are more ready to win now than the Heat. Johnson, Bibby, Smith and Horford are going to be to tough for the Heat imo and I see this series being over in 5. and let's be honest the Heat are to young and are really not built to win this year.

I'll take your word on the Hawks since I haven't seen then play except for one game in which the Lakers lost.

The reason why I stress that it "depends on whether Miami finds their rhythm or not" is because of the late-in-the-season acquisition of O'Neal. But, maintaining the honesty, they did get a lot better since the trade. If and when they do manage (I think they'll spark it up in the playoffs), be very careful. They are a team to make an "upset".

And yes, I agree: They won't win it this year... or next... or the one after... :D

I don't think you want to compare Heats Championship pedigree with the Lakers. Lakers have been in the Finals more times then the years the Heat have existed.

Don't even bother arguing with him/it. He/it is the epitome of stupidity.

NAh Im not a Cavs fan, but personally, I dont even think the Heat will pass the Hawks. So yeah, I feel the Cavs are gonna blow everyone in the east away.

RE: Lamar Odom, this dude is supposed to be an all star imo. How many players are his height, handle the ball as well as he does and has some shooting range? That makes him unique sort of, but for all those advantagves, he doesnt do nearly as much.

Personally I feel that if you are 6'11 with ball handling skills, thats a mismatch for most players that would be guarding Odom, but he does just enough to be considered a good role player ...

Playing starters minutes Odom puts up All Star numbers. Atleast if you consider Mo Williams a All Star (something I don't). February numbers: 36.3mpg 16.5ppg 13.4rpg 2.4apg.

Of Odom you mean? How is that possible. He's been in the league for nine years.

I think this year it is all about Cavaliers (Lebron) vs Lakers (Kobe)
    ... forget about anyone else.

Hmmm what do you think the odds would be on a Orlando vs Denver Finals? Right now I see that as a possibility.

That is because you are always trying to be different and unique with your thoughts, it is impossible. One of the Cavs or the Lakers will be in the Finals.( or both of them) Accept the inevitable .
