There fixed it for you. It was very confusing. Next time, space them out, alright.

It's interesting that DCU hasn't announced any friendlies.

Perhaps they felt that the friendlies last year cost their team some fitness down the stretch. The played Celtic, Real Madrid in Seattle, and many of the starters played in the All-Star game against Chelsea.

Seattle is a great soccer town. I'm glad it was here. Spreads the brand out.

That and the fact that Houston hasn't either. with still a potential Copa Sudamericana, Open Cup, SuperLiga, and possible call ups of players for U-20 World Cup, Gold Cup and Copa America, DC United agreeing to any friendlies this summer would seem unwise.

FWIW, the official draw for the Copa Sudamericana is May 22. So, we'll know within a week if a MLS team is invited and who they will be. I'm surprised that info hasn't been leaked at all.

The RSL Reserve team played the Fijian National Team in a snowstorm last month (the same night RSL defeated KC in an Open Cup play in game). The RSL Reserves won 3-0. You can read an interesting account of the Fijians (and one player in particular) written by BigSoccer member Poqui Moqui on the RSLFM Report Blog - Fiji MNT - My Personal Encounter. It's a worthwhile read.

Sounds like the Chinese NT is playing a couple of MLS teams - they play at RSL on June 7. Both games follow the USNT-China game in San Jose on June 2nd. The Chinese are preparing for the 2007 Asian Cup in July.

Comprehensive MLS Club Friendly Match Thread

Thought it would be useful to start a thread that listed all of the friendly matches for MLS clubs for 2007 and any television listings for them.

Things get underway this Wednesday as Toronto takes on Benfica and LA faces Rangers. To my knowledge, both of these matches will only be televised locally.

Other friendlies I am aware of:

    6/7 - RSL vs. China

    6/10 - Colorado vs. China

    6/22 - Chicago vs. Cracovia

    7/17 - LA vs. Tigres

    7/21 - LA vs. Chelsea

    7/22 - Chicago vs. Celtic

7/25 - Toronto vs. Aston Villa

7/28 - Columbus vs. Aston Villa

Please add any others I might have missed.
