Wait, I get the second highest score of the week and lose? What kind of screwed-up competition is this? :D

My handicap period starts now, as I'm leaving town in a few days and won't have any internet access for the next 3 weeks. Lets see where I am after that

Just to clarify, the winner of the New Belgium Cup gets a berth in the Cup Winners Cup

The division leader at the end of week 17 (and maybe more division members if they rank high enough for additional at-large berths) gets a spot in the Champions League

Ancestral roots are in Colorado, but I grew up elsewhere. Moved to Colorado in '90, but then to WY in '01, back to Colorado in '03.

Always a Rapids fan (since the inception of MLS).

Here we are one week into week 10 and no week 9 results.

Here's how they all shook out.

    Week 9 Results....

    Table Mountain Range 4 v. Vertigo 0
    Independiente 0 v. RapidsFL 1
    Quinn 0 V. City Hazmats 4
    Dumfries Reavers 1 v. Cracovia 3

    Week 10 matchups....

    Table Mountain Range v. Cracovia
    RapidsFL v. City Hazmats

In other league news, JasonMa is still leading even though he can't actively manage his team. Could this be a lesson in over coaching?

Actually as of last weekend I was back to actively managing my team. Of course, I had a crappy week and lost in the Cup, so your point may still stand...
