Look mate. Everyone on the Houston boards knew Ching was recovering from an injury, regardless of whether he said it after the game in his blog or not. He was recovering. Get it.
Chivas would have complained anyway, for sure..... So that makes things harder to accomplish IMHO... Good luck anyway....if there is a club i hate more than DCU, it's Chivas
both Mexican teams - Pachuca & Chivas - through. high drama awaits if the MLS teams can obtain passage. good luck tomorrow to both.
I think DCU has this one in the bag; now it's time for Dynamo to git 'er done. I think their chances are quite good, so I'm cautiously optimistic we'll see a MLS-FMF final four with "one million dollars" on the line.
last night's quarterfinal results from http://concacaf.com/view_article.asp?id=3732: DEPORTIVO MARQUENSE (GUA) – PACHUCA CF (MEX) 0:1 (0:1) Pachuca CF wins 3:0 on aggregate CD GUADALAJARA (MEX) – W CONNECTION FC (TRI) 3:0 (1:0) CD Guadalajara wins 4:2 on aggregate if both Houston and DC advance tonight, they would both start the semifinal series at home (or in some nearby venue) on either March 13, 14, 15. the Houston/Puntarenas winner will host Pachuca. the DC/Olimpia winner will host Chivas de Guadalajara. Goff writes in the WashPost: "If United advances, it will host the first leg of its semifinal series March 15 at 8 p.m." semifinal second legs will be in Mexico three weeks later, on either April 3, 4, 5. in MLS play, DC kicks off at Colorado on 4/7, and Houston hosts LA on 4/8. having two teams in the CCC semifinals (and fighting for spots in the final) would be an excellent lead-up to the season.
