I have a proxy from Jay so once dj picks there will be 2 quickies from across the pond. Incidentally it should become clear that I have neither plan nor strategy for this draft. I care about as much about this competition as I do about Mountain Standard Time -- just a way for me to own all the players I wish would transfer into the Prem. You could send me your top 2 choices. I've already sent my upcoming proxy to 2 different people, so you can rest assured that I won't switch my pick to snag either of your guys. Just want to remind everyone that I'll be AWOL with no possibility of proxying by phone or internet from about 7am Sat to 10pm Sun. My plan is that if we can at least get through 7-8 rounds by then, I won't mind if you all just go on without me, and I'll pick up the scraps when I return. But if we only get through 3-5 rounds, that would be a tougher handicap.
Perhaps we all need to be clear on our draft availability. I must have missunderstood others' availability posts. We only have 6 managers. If we get together it should go fast. It's almost 8 PM EDT now. I've available until midnight or 1 AM, then a check in at 6-6:30 EDT tomorrow morning, then Friday evening from when I get off work 4-5 PM until Monday morning at 6. Jay is out Sat 10 AM until Sunday night, but he also is available on Friday. Maybe we should also exchange phone numbers, latest email addys, etc. so we can alert someone it's his turn.
