haven't we learned anything from Sun Xiang's failure? Zhou will not get a chance to start. At best, he'll be sub'd in for garbage minute when the team is either down or up by 2 goals with 5 minutes left to go.

Sun Xiang actually got some minutes, but he wasn't good enough, neither will Zhou be. I am very negative because I am sick of dissapointments.

disappointment is part of the game :)

In the Portuguese Honra div. Without Jiang Xiaoyu, SC Olhanense lost ( 1-2 ) away at Estoril and may lose the league leadership if 2nd placed team Santa Clara win its game later on today.

Haven't been on for a while but curious, whatever happened to Yu Hai after Vitesse? I'm sure it isnt the fact that he is not good enough for a CSL team even after plying his trade in Dutch football. Is he injured longterm or even retired at this early age?

    Is he any good?

He has been bought to replace Mendez next season, and to compete with Otman Bakkal for a first eleven spot next season. His first 4 months is to adept to Dutch football and to the Dutch culture.

unless PSV is deseperate, Zhou Haibin will NOT make the starting line-up. At the current moment, none of the Chinese players are good enough to play in solid European football teams.

I'm a big fan of Zhou Haibin but honestly speaking I don't think he has what it takes to crack the first XI at PSV... maybe a smaller Euro team.

Who knows, I'm all for surprises.

what is Li Weifeng really like as a player? is his infamous imperious grab of a japanese player by the throat typical?

wonder how Cha Bum-keun will utilise him at Suwon Samsung Bluewings. and how as a manger he will shape the player if Li Weifeng is prone to yellow/red cards. Cha Bum-keun probably knows him well enough to bring it under control.

oh yeah and i thought Li Weifeng was much taller, in that pic of the above mentioned incident he was towering over the Japanese player. And in other pics of that game he was one of the tallest on the pitch.

but it looks like he is the same height as Cha Bum-Keun.

I saw the game... he was terrible in the first half, gave up needless free kicks and was the man beaten on Hull's goal... Its all over for China's Sun, he needs to go back to Jia A and live out the rest of his days with one last fat paycheck...

PSV 2 lost against sc Heerenveen 2, in front of 18.000 sc Heerenveen fans, with 5-3. A decent debut according to the commentator.
