ZZ is the best defender in Championship league.

 

i think championship suits zheng well. he has chance to show his skills especially since his team is one of the stronger ones. he is showing a lot of confidence.

i think the best chinese players should go to lower divisions in europe. look how dong did with antwerp (he shouldve stayed with them and get them promoted), fan zhiyi with crystal palace, zhang enhua with grimsby town. lower divs more focused on strength than skill, so chinese can build up physique and courage to have composure on ball, which is a major issue whenever i watch the national team play. they dont have enough experience going against caucasians or africans and afraid of them Lol..

i think if most of the NT had players who played consistently in second or third divs (top euro countries), china would do well in asia.

the level of CSL is horrendous, and jesus christ Beijing University of Technology is in second division lol! seriously the teams in CSL play like my friend's saturday games with his chinese coworkers.

 

on another note: i think for the past the chinese NT focuses more on strength than skill, something closer to korean style than japanese. The chinese dont have enough discipline/professionalism to apply skillful styles well, unlike the japanese (seriously). If focusing on power brings out the best of chinese players then thats another reason to go lower divs.

the euro lower divisions give a good grounding in the basics of professional football. you shouldn't look to the top if you dont even have the fundamentals.
