Thanks for the report. I thought it a bit strange that we played such an experimental team, especially after so much hype leading up to the match (special programs, t-shirts, etc). I was assuming that Gregory really would want to make a splash by putting our strongest side out there. Oh well, it was a bit of very early season training for the guys and a nice gate of over 13k into the coffers.
A report on the Barnet official site says they defeated QPR 2-1 yesterday in a match at QPR's training ground. No report on who played for QPR or on our goal (they just report that QPR took the lead on a "soft-looking goal").
FYI, Tommy Williams, who was on loan at QPR during our run to the play-off finals in 02/03 and again for a bit the year after, has just signed a two-year deal with Wycombe and could be in the squad we face in tomorrow's friendly: http://www.wycombewanderers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~1079522,00.html http://www.wycombe.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=75235 Interestingly, Williams had one appearance in 2006 for the Cyprus national team -- his mother was born there.

Some strange contributions to the official site this evening. Whoever it was that tried to put the team news up on the site made a few boo-boo's... Other than misspelling Stefan Moore. And I think "Simmons" is Dominic Shimmin. The interns are in charge I guess we're playing... Camp Curtis Stewart Rehman Mancienne Rowlands Walton Simmonds Moore Sahar Nygaard Apparently Marc Nygaard has scored to put us 1-nil up
To answer my own question: he's a 19-year-old Chelsea midfielder who went on loan to Cardiff last season, but didn't actually play in Cardiff's first team at all (not a great sign): http://www.chelseafc.com/page/NewsHomePage/0,,10268~965455,00.html

Simon Walton goes down with what Clive Walker describes as a potentially bad ankle injury. That is not good at all - hopefully he'll be alright. Walton has been carried off - replaced by Stefan Bailey. Not good Still nil-1 at HT
Great -- while the QPR website says you can listen there, I can't find any link that actually gets me to the commentary and I can't listen on BBC London because I don't have Real Player here.
I was having problems with the official site as well - why I switched to BBC London. Missing some decent atmosphere and a good performance. Unfortunately, Simon Walton's injury will be the big story tomorrow morning for the Rs
