Yeh, Brett Ormerod played for us after he was released from Blackburn Rovers and we found him working in a textiles factory. After persuading him to play, he scored something like 28 goals in 32 games, which prompted Blackpool to pay a then club record (for an incoming Stanley fee) £50,000. He carried on scoring freely, and Southampton bought him for around £1.5 million. He was a bit of a flop there, and now plays his trade for Preston North End, although all Stanley fans wish him well and lookout for when he scores. Met him aswell. Great guy.
