I think maybe you are overreacting considering that wasn't in reply to just you in particular and it was, y'know. lighthearted. Also, I'd like to say that actually making it a point to play down my involvement in these things because it should be about all the fans' collective initiative to see things like this happen. i'm sure there will be harsh words for me with regard to that too from some people though. My only reaction to what you posted is it was all considered, but the fact remains PUMA couldn't do it, so there's no sense wringing hands about it for this coming year at least. that perspective is neither too serious or self-important.

Thanks for the snippets from Pulp Fiction. That sounds like when the three of them are driving and before they have to visit The Wolf. Shocked I didn't remember that because my favorite moment in the movie happens right after this dialogue. But then, that moment is so grotesquely funny that it must have obliterated the dialogue that came before it. And Liam, I probably was overreacting a bit. I was in a pissy mood that night. It was more a reaction to some of your other posts recently than that one post. I also just get frustrated with this modern world (because I was, after all, born in 1771, not 1971 ) not respecting the traditions and understanding the (usually very good)reasons behind those traditions. It sounds like they want us to have this special kind of jersey, and that kind isn't amenable to having a bar across the chest which is of a different color than the background. So they weighed using a different jersey against appearance and the rules of heraldry (not that they thought about it that way). Heraldry lost. Not uncommon. Just frustrating to a traditionalist like me.
