Re: Udinese Training Camp News Wow. Udinese have a lot of forwards. I wonder if they'll loan some out for next season.
Re: Udinese Training Camp News Agreed, specially new ones, like Goitom. They can improve playing at other sides... Or just sell some, why not?
Re: Udinese Training Camp News Updating: Udinese 14 x 1 Real I.C. Udinese 2 x 0 Panionios Udinese 0 x 0 Rapid Bucarest
Re: Udinese Training Camp News I can't believe they have that son of a terrorist on their roster. Makes me ashamed to be a Udinese supporter. I know he probably won't even play, but I wouldn't let him in my country, much less on my team.
Re: Udinese Training Camp News Well, nothing against Saadi - If Muammar is a stupid ruler,Saadi at least have some good points. At udinese.it,they were saying that Gheddafi as one of the best players when they started to train, but his problem is physical condictions.Of course he's the 3rd option when we say about our players,but...
Re: Udinese Training Camp News Udinese drew last year's losing UEFA Cup finalists Sporting Lisbon in their Champions League qualifying round. Couldn't have been a much more difficult draw, especially with the first leg at home. Well, it'll be an interesting challenge to say the least. EDIT: Wait, I read it wrong, at least Udinese DOES get the advantage of playing the second leg at home.
Re: Udinese Training Camp News Hm... Udinese 2 x 0 Young Boys and Udinese 1 x 0 Stuttgart (nice result eh?)
Re: An Udinese Forum? Up,again. We made it.We're at group stage... Now the discussion : I'm probably alone here.We had more 2 or 3 Udinese fans, but some went out, some were kicked out.Udinese has been the "second team" for many Italians in Europe I believe - until they cross with another Italian... Udinese will have a tough season - CL(and maybe UEFA Cup),Serie A and Coppa. So I don't know what is better - making 2 or 3 topics about the tournaments or a new forum to put it on order. Thoughts?
Re: An Udinese Forum? Was thinking about it, actually. It's true, there are very few "Udinese haters" (outside of Lisbon), so it seems all the fans of other teams have rallied behind them. Maybe we should replace the Parma board with Udinese. Any other mods have thoughts on this?
Re: An Udinese Forum? I'm the Parma mod, and in my mind that board is finished and has been for some time. Our best bet is to get rid of Parma and replace it with something! All of the posts that are put in the Parma forum can simply go into a 2005/2006 Parma thread.
Re: An Udinese Forum? I don't see why we necessarily need to lose a board to gain another one. Hell, the EPL has a freakin' forum for every club just about... In any case, an Udinese forum probably wouldn't be a bad idea. It would certainly get more traffic than the Parma forum - this year. But who knows what will happen next year. I have no problem with switching forums around on a regular basis, but I don't know how the supermods feel about that. If Udinese goes back to their "regular" level, will they still need a forum of their own? A ton of people voted for a Napoli forum but we still don't have one (perhaps rightfully). How many people would participate regularly in an Udinese board (a serious question, not rhetorical)?
Re: An Udinese Forum? I think we should she more Udinese related posts before we even think of its own forum. Same goes for any team.
Re: An Udinese Forum? That's because it was for a CL game, how about some other discussion about the team?
Re: An Udinese Forum? I agree with dante, half of it was portugese fans talking about the 2 matches and they arent coming back.
Re: An Udinese Forum? This discussion brings up a good point. Just how many forums are we allowed? As I pointed out earlier, the UK has countless forums. Is there a rule that Italy can only have X number of forums? Or is it just a matter of traffic? To what extent would adding separate forums weigh down on BS' resources? I don't see a real need for an Udinese forum right now. If anything, they will get a lot of attention this year because of their CL participation (and strong Serie A showing last year) but overall that probably won't hold up in the next couple of years. Cosmi could prove me wrong...but it's a chance we'd be taking.
Re: An Udinese Forum? The problem is about users, without doubt.Udinese deserves a forum, since we're at Europe since 5 years ago(our won at Intertoto 2000). Talking about future,I believe this season, again,we'll stay at least with a Intertoto spot(I believe a UEFA Cup). But since I'm alone as a fan,of course or some Udinese fans can appear to improve the moviment or mods and Milan,Juv,Inter,Roma,Lazio, etc fans helping out. I saw some days ago at Asia Forum, when Saudis started to "claim" a forum,a need of 15 fans or people requesting the forum. That's why U.K. have too much foruns - at least 15 fans they have when we talk about EPL teams...
Re: An Udinese Forum? Right, but I wonder if we decide that an Udinese forum would be needed if we can be granted one without having to lose one we already have. If that's the case, we could add Udinese and even Napoli if we wanted to. I wonder how many resources are allotted to Italy and if we can grow beyond that or not.
Re: An Udinese Forum? Since there is no Udinese board... How good is Michele Pazienza? Fiorentina just got him.
