Fair Game magazine reports that Thailand, Myanmar, Chinese Taipei (i.e., Taaiwan), and Vietnam have secured the last four slots in the 2005-2006 Asian Women's Championships by advancing to the semifinals of the qualifying tournament. China, Japan, and the two Koreas were already granted direct entry. http://www.fairgamemagazine.com/news/index.php?&newsmode=FULL&nid=1649 If I recall correctly, the Asian Women's Championship has previously served as the Asian qualifying tournament for the Women's World Cup. Can anyone confirm if that's true this time?
