I just received the 2004 season tickets from the Quakes today via Fedex. They look awesome. They are a little smaller than last year but the design is far better. Can't want until opening day. Anyone else get them yet.....
I have been using the tracking number thoughtfully provided in the Quakes email to track the progress of my tickets via fedex.com. They were sent from Arkansas and are now in Maryland -- um, that's the wrong direction, guys...
Just got mine, thanks Fed-X, along with a long list of restricted items at Spartan. And this year security can do random pat-down searches on anybody they choose and I'm sure Erin, and other women, won't like that one bit. No poles for flags longer than 24" or larger than 1/4" in Diameter. No chain wallets or dangerous bicycles,frisbees or beach balls The only good thing on the restricted list are those damn plastic horns.
When the FedEx lady brought me the tickets about noon, the most welcome news she had was, "I've delivered a lot of these in Concord, today."
      I haven't received my tickets, which is just as well... I'm sure that the Earthquakes want to assure large crowds at home games.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I got mine and they look really nice. I love that they have a real ticket in the front of the book for the LD Alajuelense game. I also love that each ticket has the trophy on it along with 2 stars. The Shake with the Quakes ticket at the back has a great picture of the supporters section from MLS Cup. I can identify many of the folks in the shot including billreeves, who is appropriately having a drink. :>) Overall, very nice!
The tickets look GREAT! I especially like the Shake with the Quakes ticket with the majority of CQ/Casbah in the picture. Totally made my day! I can't wait until the opener! Go Quakes!
That ducat is a winner. Has a lot of the CQ/Casbah regulars, as blacktide mentioned a certain moderator having a brew with his lady, a diva looking down at the stands, and a big looking dude just hanging out. There are a few others that are worth noting, especially a couple of them in the upper part of the pic. Only a couple more weeks!
Oooooooo. I like the Bonus game "B" ticket! Nice touch with DeRo in his Nat's jersey! I was craving an ice cold beer today (haven't had one since the championship game last year). I came home and there were my tickets. Weird!?
Hooray--big fedex moment for us yesterday. I love the last ticket too, but my eyes must be lots worse than any of yours because I can hardly see faces, much less recognize anyone.
Actually, my wife and I kind of thought that it was weird having DeRo in the Canadian uniform. Rather have him in a Quakes uniform... Got mine last Friday. Sweet! [big]Earthquakes![/big]
I really thought that too until I saw that the ticket was for admission to the QUAKES vs Canadian National Team. I wonder which side Dwayne will be playing for on that day? I think it will be a fun game!
Hmmmm! This makes difficult my usual bringing of the Canadian national flag, the Province of Ontario flag (Dwayne) and the Province of British Columbia flag (Pat).
