bumping..... still looking for that perfect Xmas gift ?!?!?! Make the call, send the email, put a copy of a ticket for next year in her/his stocking. Sadly, Chico, I think not. But that's the beautiful thing about SE Nest season tickets - we pay Nicole alot of money to handle all this for us. Oh wait, we don't pay her at all. Well, she's a saint then. I think it is the group concept they have a procedural issue with.
If you still wanted your seat from last year you need to move on it because we're opening up all seats now. Sales have been brisk so act now to get the best seats (or the seats you want). K
Besides getting to see up close what good or bad things happen with the new coach - see what former players have to say about us:
Testimonial: Sitting in the Nest has changed my life. I now am 35% more productive during the day. I've lost 5lbs. I can drink 400% more beer. My car gets 75 miles to the gallon. I just wrote my doctoral dissertation in less than a week. I was able to write THE great American novel. I am now 5% more attractive to the opposite sex. Everything is great and I've never felt better. Not typical results. Actual results may vary.
CREDIT CARD ALERT The TM mentioned that they will probably start charging credit cards next week so make sure you've got some cash on them. K
OK ... taking it one claim at a time ... 1) before you just sat in the front of the office greeting people (think WalMart), now you get a PC with BigSoccer access, productivity is in the eye of the beholder 2) You spent so long on BS you forgot to eat 3) that is impressive 4) You take the Metro. 5) Um, a letter describing your many ailments detected by the free clinic to give to your new physician is not a "doctoral dissertation". 6) Not another soccer novel 7) The opposite sex has been watching 'Average Joe', or wearing burkas lately ...
Best damn row there is. New blood? Who didn't get their renewal in on time? Is entropy returning to the season-ticket fold, or will his single-game ticket purchase protest continue? Inquiring minds want to know...
Have any United season ticket sales numbers been released and compared with similar time last year to see what the Adu effect might be? If there are any United staff on the boards can you find this out?
Indeed. Actually, I know that we have a 'newbie' in our row, but I don't know if/who we lost to make way....Or maybe there was just a shift.
I don't know, but the ticketmistress told me I had been shifted one seat closer to the aisle, which is fine, because GDopplerXT wont spill as much ale on me that way. Of course, Bryan76 may pick up the slack in that department, so I guess it's a wash.
Guess I'll just have to put a little more elbow into it from now on.... Actually, I believe you have met the gentlemen on whose behalf you are shifting. He is the brother of the tall Irish drunk who sits in our row. The brother is not a drunk, however, but he's a weird cat in his own way.
My preference is that the 4th row be denied the right to hold beer. They should be required to pass their beers to those in the 3rd row, who will see to it that no beer gets spilled...
That is a good thought, but if you deny the 4th row the right to hold beer, I'm sure they would all just climb down to the third row and carry on as usual. Then you've still got the same problem, but now it's right up in your face. The 4th row can not be kept down by the powers that be. We'll fight for our right to party.
I'm tempted to join back up. I really am. Although the boys in La Norte might be counting on me. Hmm. Maybe I can entertain myself with standing in line for a veggie burger. I'm conflicted. We're back in the thick this year. DC is still filling out the coaching staff too from what I hear......... Bruce
We all know that the 3rd row is filled with people who would never THINK of spilling a drop of beer while they bust up the furniture.
Remember, busting up the furniture isn't as easy as it looks. The back of Rev's seat held up remarkably well after that late-season OT loss to Columbus. Maybe those of us in the 4th row should stick to drinking and spilling beer, and leave the busting up of the furniture to the pros in the third row.
I don't mind the beer spilling (that's why I put all my stuff in a Hefty bag and leave on the seat) but I'm TOTALLY serious about getting in people's faces (or whacking the back of their heads) if I see them not singing. If you don't want to sing what the hell are you doing in the Nest? K
