Ralph is a couple months too old. Who is Bart-Williams?

So, if I understand this correctly, assuming the US can survive St. Kitts, our group will be:

    Panama or Saint Lucia
    Canada or El Salvador
    Haiti or Honduras

I'll go out on a limb pick Panama, Canada and Honduras.

Panama should be no problems but Canada has played this generation tough and Honduras is a wildcard.

So, if the US finishes second in their group, the semifinal will probably be against Mexico, in Azteca, with qualification on the line...right? If so, finishing first will obviously be pretty important.

He plays for Charlton Athletic in the EPL.

My understanding is that it is a straight knockout format. The groups are only for the WCQ. That way there is no finishing first or second in the group. I could be way wrong, but the Olympic qualfiers seem to be straight knock-out.

The final tournament in Mexico will have 2 groups of 4. Each group winner will play the other group's runner-up with qualification on the line.

You mean Chris Bart-Williams? He's 29, and IIRC actually scored against the US for England in a U-20 World Cup.

Actually St. Lucia probably can beat Panama, as the Caribbean minnows go, they ain't too bad.

Honduras should probably handle Haiti. Canada and the Sallies should be a good match up.
