The nature of the losses is the problem. Livorno was supposed to be an easy 3 points at home. Never mind that Palermo is apparently suffering an injury crisis.
yeah I dont think its right, but I've seen it written in a couple places about guidolin... palermo has had real trouble scoring goals, I'd look for a big purchase form them in january maybe with a new coach...
The lack of goal-scoring would be the only thing I can think of to justify the change. Then again, it wouldnt be the first time Guidolin is fired prematurely...
Now the media is reporting that Guidolin is close to renewing with the side until 2006. Love these soap operas.
Boy oh boy not a great time to be a Palermo fan. Were slipping and we need to improve. We need to finish within the top 5 spots so were reconized and we can recieve money so we can buy great well known players to add to your roster.
Diden't see the game but i am dissapointed that Palermo are not playing like they started the season.
I've seen stories linking Palermo to both Di Michelle at Udinese and Inter's Cruz... perhaps playing with more than just Toni up front would help, maybe an adjustment would open things up for palermo...
looks like Zamparini is at it again and Guidolin's departure appears likely..odd that he would condemn the coach (and give up on the coppa) at this time.. http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=34669&progr=6
Well, as if we needed another reason to be annoyed by someone like Mourinho. He has requested bodyguards for Chelsea's CL trip to Porto and was quoted as saying something to the effect of: "yes I want bodyguards, as you would need if you were to visit a place like Palermo in Sicily." Ignorance. Pure ignorance. He should be so lucky to go to a city like Palermo...
