Oh yeah...got this mag in the mail earlier this week. There are 3 2003 WWC articles in it..all written by Washington Post reporter Brian Straus. "Natural-Born Competitors" talks about the killer mentality of the USWNT. "Long Journey Home" is about the countries going to China. "Cup Contenders" gives a preview of who the big dawgs are. There is also a good full page pic of Mia Hammagarciapparra in it as well as a two page pic of the infamous fog final of the Gold Cup. Oh yeah there is also a full page pic of Christine Sinclair in there . Oh yeah...there is a full page pic of the Courage hoisting the Founder's Cup too. And please don't ask...it's not available in stores.
I finally got my issue too. It's great! I just wish they had the readership to sustain more than just a quarterly edition at best. But then, I'm just glad they are able to publish AT ALL. sigh...
