Freedom roll the dice for a team with almost no draft picks . . . the freedom did pretty well. trading Mackinen for a bologna sandwich would've been a decent deal, getting Rebekah McDowell (UNC's most underrated player of all-time maybe) is huge - now maybe we can put the Mia as wide-mid thing to rest for good. to get Missy Gregg can only be an upside (the only danger is the league putting her back in the draft if she doesn't play this year - is there a precedent?) On the other hand, taking Fennell?? over Ragsdale - we'll see . . . Now sell more tickets . . .
Lori Lindsey at Freedom -Freedom scored BIG TIME with the acquisition of midfielder Lindsey; 2 goals and 5 assists in her rookie season with MINIMAL playing time in San Diego! Goodbye Spirit and welcome FREEDOM
