Nothing gives. I root for different clubs in the different leagues I love. River Plate is number one in the WORLD. Period. Los Pumas is my Liga Mexicana club. Period. ChivasUSA is going to be my MLS club. Excuse me if Chivas was the Mexican organization with enough balls to "invade" MLS. I will be there cheering for them to kick ass. Period. There is absolutely no contradiction in any of this. As far as the USMNT is concerned, I can't stand them at any level. I simply find I cannot root for them, especially now with their recent success. Their arrogant fans (which is most people on these boards) think they can walk on water. I want them brought down a few notches. That's why I was sad Paraguay lost. very close grp for the USA! panama is out. Paraguay is back (river fan should be happy....be cool man, I see your point) 2 tough loses for canucks...they were pretty much into both games.... Just a question: why concacaf has 4 teams in this tourney and Conmebol 4?
I'm guessing because CONCACAF has had some pretty good participations in the past, with Mexico, the US, and Costa Rica advancing to the 2nd round several times.
