While some players are locks to be in the starting lineup (Kreis, Bonseu, Morrow, etc), there're a number of competitive positions where players will be splitting time, at least early on in the season.

    4-4-2

    GK: Countess
    RB: Suarez
    CB: Bonseu
    CB: Morrow
    LB: Broome/Gbandi
    DM: Pareja
    DM: Deering
    RM: O'Brien/Vaca
    LM: Martinez/Davis
    F: Kreis
    F: Johnson/Cerritos/Rhine

I feel better about Ramiro in there instead of Waibel, b/c he's slow and not as offensive as Ramiro.

You really think they'll start Carrieri on the bench after he had such a good season? Or does it not seem so good if you take out that one hat trick?

I mean, I'm all for it, as I've got Spencer on my fantasy team, but I'm figuring maybe Roberts will have to work his way into the starting lineup over time. Roberts and Schmidt at #3 and #4 isn't too shabby, depth-wise.

Hudson is talking about playing a 4-5-1 since the 3-5-2 has been a miserable experiment in the preseason.

Well I'm pretty sure Spencer will start if he's healthy (Team captain and all) but I just picked one of the three for the other forward. It really could be any of them the way things look now.

Given Bradley's quest for "the perfect roster", everything is still questionable. Here's my guess:
    Howard, Tim

    Pope, Eddie
    Jolley, Steve
    Ziadie, Craig
    Leitch, Chris

    Lisi, Mark
    Matteo, Jeff
    Williams, Richie
    Mathis, Clint

    Magee, Mike*
    Moreno, Jaime

*supposed to be on U-17 duty for the first few months of the season. The search is still on for the #10 (playmaker) of the team.

    My guess is:

    Gk - Gato
    D - Califf
    D - Lalas
    D - Hong
    D- Marshall
    M - Ezra
    M - Simon
    M - Sasha
    M - Cobi
    F - Fish
    F - Chacon

    Colorado in my mind
    Colorado wins the west

Having spent a brief amount of time working for the Rapids, I have seen up close the amount of admiration Carrieri has for Spencer, and in my opinion deservedly so. So taking these 2 men with as much passion and intensity as they both have, coupled with their proven scoring abilities I think it can only benefit the Rapids to have them both on the field to start. I also think that opposing defenses will NOT be looking forward to seeing those 2 madmen coming at them backed up by the likes of Chung, Hendy, Pablo, and Gilles. My prediction should everyone stay healthy, Colorado wins the West!

I thought Wolff was out for a long time with an injury?
