2003 going to be the worst season in the history of MLS!

    So far i watched 4 MLS teams training sessions and scrimmage games here in south florida and the level i saw from all of them is T E R R I B L E and alot more than terrible. Believe me this coming season is going to be a disaster....the teams looking like high school teams not even college. You all will see when the season start if im bull $hitting or not. The defending champs were terrible today aginst the metros. Dallas.... is the worst soccer team on earth without a doubt. I don't know what's up with MLS i don't know why they worked hard on selling tickets in the off season and stopped on the quality of the players we going to watch. We all know that the tickets selling is going good so far but if we not going to see some real level on the pitch those fans are not going to come back. We just got out of the best yr in the history of the league....so why now we gave up on the freaking quality of our teams?
    MLS, You can't and will never fool the soccer fans in America!! Show us some real quality of play of just leave. THIS IS F@#KING CRAZY!!

    Uh... we didn't have a lot of players leave MLS this offseason at all. Diallo to Saudi Arabia and Nowak retired, but that was it.

    IT'S CALLED PRESEASON!!! Most teams have been training for, what, three weeks? And at least half of the players playing in these games are either rookies or on trial...

    How can last year be the best, and this year be the worst?? Especially since, oh...I dunno...NOT ONE MEANINGFUL GAME HAS BEEN PLAYED THIS SEASON!!

    And yeah, they really let quality slip.....especially when they signed that Stewart guy...I mean...he's nothing. They just keep adding crap. :rolleyes:

    It will easily be the best year ever for MLS.
    I don't think there is any serious doubt about that.
    Season ticket sales are up all over the league.
    Promising new talent as well as some great experienced veterans added to the league (leave San Jose out of the discussion).
    A new stadium in LA and announcements on the way for a couple of other new stadiums. I could go on and on..

    Mistakes? Like what? MLS didn't lose a lot of important players, so the quality of play can't really drop any at all.

    Reading all your replies gave me a very clear reason why MLS have the dumbest fan base in the world. You all sound like a bunch of nerds walking around a soccer field. MLS will only succeed when all of you die and the next generation takes over. I'm sure yo'll are those people who go to the stadium to eat hot dogs and drink beer only and don't give a f@#k about who's playing.
    Get a life first then talk... ;)
