Who is supplying the kits for the Burn in 2003? If the same company as now, are they keeping the same design, anyone know?
I think we should go to an all red uniform to distinguish us from other teams (metros) who have copied our red and black. I think a Liverpool style all red uni would be very cool.
so what? if they copy us we have to change? Liverpool has a good jersey, but I don't think it'd fit the Burn very well. But I can't make a decision without seeing it first. As for next season, I think we're definetly staying with Athletica and maybe a design change.
The Fire already have "all red" as their strip. The Metros and Burn are different.. The Mutts have the strips and Dallas is a solid red with black sides. And the new Metros kit is more black than ever before. I hope that Dallas keeps the kit they have now. I am very happy with with the three kits the team currently have..
Atletica is the supplier. I have heard the team mention before that they intend to keep the same design for one more year. La locura rojinegra
I heard they renewed for several more years. I would still like to see a Flamengo type look at least as third jersey although the current third jersey is a good one.
You might some day get your wish. Burn GM Andy Swift is a life-long Flamengo fan. Don't hold your breath, but it would not surprise me in the least to see Red and Black Hoops someday.
Even a version like Ajax would be cool. You can have either a thick red stripe down the middle surrounded by black or vice versia.
When I say all red, I mean ALL red. The fire have white in their home uniform. I like our uniforms just fine. It's just with all this talk of "rebranding" this is the change I'd make if I was going to do something with the Burn. Red jerseys, red shorts, red socks. NO other colors. Very, very distinctive.
