    Hi,

Has anyone got details of the commentators for BBC and ITV during the 2002 World Cup. I would like to know each game if anyone knows this.

    Thanks

    Adam

The 2002 World Cup was commentated by Jack Edwards. “That’s why he’s here”

He was the main announcer for ESPN/ESPN2/ABC. I think the OP asked for BBC and ITV info for each game.

ESPN made huge mistakes with non football commentators.
    Jack Edwards was terrible.
    Dave O’ Brien was horrendous.
    Roger Twibell hideous.
It’s gotten a lot better but it’s was just madness to think someone thought this was a good decision.

    Kryptonite and unclesox repped this.

And then Fox made the same decision with Gus Johnson.

Along those lines, something similar happened with Disney+ when they got Simpsons episodes. They put them all up in 16x9 fullscreen, which meant that part of the 4x3 image was pushed off the viewable screen. Naturally, people didn't like it and this was AFTER SimpsonsWorld.com made the mistake.

You'd think companies would learn. "Don't Do What Donnie Don't Does."

I will never forget oversleeping and waking up to US 3 - Portugal 1 in like the 70th minute. Jack Edwards was excited man, woke me right up.
