good question. and welcome Sam, I missed you the baseball club is ok with it, yes. so, soccer will take priority.
lol... you are comparing my kid to 12 year olds who went to the LLWS? that's meaningless! get a life!
yes if he does HS baseball then he can do HS soccer. but if he does MLS Next then i don't think he can do another sport.
Wow, that's crazy! Is there an article about her? I would like to learn more about this as it sounds very out of the norm. see @The Stig @sam_gordon what's possible if you set your mind to it... #positivethinking #TonyRobbins #TwoD1SportsIsPossible
Point to ANY post where I said it is impossible or has never happened. What I have said is that at ten years of age it is way to early to speculate on whether it is likely for your son. People have pointed out why the two sports you have chosen are difficult to stack onto one another. Those are just logistical facts. Others have gone into the area of power in baseball and the weight gain necessary can work against the body type that a soccer player needs. Certainly for batting the muscle mass is necessary. But, also, the biggest reason people are pointing out the difficulty for your son is the fact that you are exploring this as if it is a certainty after just one season of baseball at ten years old. You have the delusion that development is linear. Your sons physical growth, relative to others isn't even linear. People have stated again and again to ask this question again in HS and for now to just table it and play the sports as much as you can. I don't see how that is dream crushing or negative. It is truthful and objectively realistic. We have all seen players achieve the highest levels, could your son be one? Absolutely, but it is far from a certainty and no amount of positive thinking can change that fact. his success is dependent upon talent+hard work+luck.
But that poster said "A friend's daughter played D1 soccer and softball." Be positive like Abraham Lincoln. #positivethinking #ElonMusk #freedomofspeech Anything is possible if you put your mind to it @The Stig
OK, I'm calling it out too... please show a post where *I* said it was impossible. I think you're making things up in your head, and I don't know why.
@The Stig, there is an ignore feature here. I very RARELY use it (on other forums), mainly just for known spammers, but this is getting close.
One person’s outcome is not relatable to your son’s potential outcome. But other than that Mrs, Lincoln, how was the play?
