Is there a website with consistent coverage, in English, of the 2.liga? I am trying to follow Cologne, but my German is muy rusty.
I'd say so if you're saying muy isntead of sehr, but to try to help you a little more, i can't find a thing, but i could have sworn that kicker or bundesliga.de used to have a bit in english but can't seem to find it anymore. Sorry that i can't help more.
www.stoop.de (a great 2. Liga site, BTW) has a babelfish-tranlated english version. The funny thing is that the club names are also tranlated. Forest Yard Mannheim vs. Wacker Castle living (my favorite is the translation of Wattenscheid: SG cotton wool-separate ) www.germansoccer.net has a 2. Bundesliga section.
He he, that's pretty cool alright. Actually, Red White Upper Living is even better than Wacker Castle Living, if you ask me... FWIW the players' names are also translated, which must be how Feinbier of *ahem* LR Awls *ahem* became "fine beer". Some are hilarious in a nomen est omen sense, like Lösch of Trier (who becomes "delete"), Kracht (Karlsruhe - now known as "cracks") or the Forest Yard Man Home keeper "zero" (Nulle). And what of "tree refined" (Baumgart), "binding forest" (Bindewald), "because and" (Weiland) and - bizarrely - "realm old" (Reichold) ? What do they feed Babelfish ?
