How I told you before, Greuther Fürth have the same problems (Lanig & Adlung out, Biliskov 50 %)...

Btw: It's pouring here at the moment (mixture of rain & hail)! I bet this will be the lowest attendance at Playmobil stadium this season ... and this in a top game! :( I won't go to the game and feel sorry for all those fans who have already got a ticket for the unroofed north and south stand.

PS: I try to follow the "2. Bundesliga conference" via internet live stream.

On the bundesliga.de live-ticker it is showing Butscher playing? I understood he was out injured?

It also shows SCF playing a 4-3-3 can anyone confirm this?

yeah Eric...Butscher was playing, but definately was not in full form...I think maybe Khizaneishvili or Olajengbesi should have been put in...Our back-line was really weak and Fürth didn't seem to have many problems breaking it down.

and we also were playing 4-3-3...Matmour was REALLY missed today i can say that...The main problem was that nobody was really outstanding, Fürth we're definately the better team for the first 25 minutes...Then from there we really started to play well...Great chance and shot for Bencik, but was totally robbed by Kirschstein...Still we were playing fairly well up until we scored the first goal (it was a beautiful goal from Pitroipa)...Unfortunately though... we broke the code between Freiburg and Fürth of nobody is allowed to win these matches...so Fürth scores seconds later which i saw happening right from the start

then from there...We had nothing, It was all Fürth and they really should have won this match...they had about 3 golden chances that could/should have been converted...and that backpass from Ibertsberger to Walke was absolutely dreadful...I think that was Krmas saving the day there?

anyways, bad match...But i knew it was coming...At least i now know to never look forward to a Freiburg - Fürth match ever again :p

I personally don't know. Maybe you should ask in the "Mainz 05" thread.

    Here's tonight's results:

    Borussia M'gladbach - Kickers Offenbach 3:0 (1:0)
    SC Paderborn 07 - SpVgg Greuther Fürth 1:0 (0:0)
SV Wehen Wiesbaden - TuS Koblenz 0:2 (0:0)
VfL Osnabrück - FC Carl Zeiss Jena 1:1 (1:0)

Paderborn with the 1st season victory (although the guests were clearly better and missed plenties of opportunities to take the lead), Jena with a last-minute equalizer in numerical inferiority and Borussia with an easy home win.

I watched the Osna - Jena game. What an equalizer after being behind so long!

SCF fans. How do you guys not beat a depleted 1860 team at your house?

Serious question. I did not see it.

I was on my way to watch my own suckass team bend over and take another defeat.

it really hurts me to say this...but we have a big problem with a goalkeeper right now.

I love Alex Walke to death, but if he doesn't improve soon...he has to step down for the sake of the club...He is such a promising talent but i found after that really big mistake in Aue last year, he hasn't been the same! he doesn't seem to make so many good saves anymore...Of course we don't know how fit he is at the moment...Over the summer he had that bad car accident - he just stepped into the first team not too long ago...But he has not been very good at all! he's letting in way too many weak goals, especially the late equalizer from 1860 yesterday...That SHOULD have been a save, i don't know what Walke was trying to do there.

Of course, it has to be said - the guys up front should have scored some of those nice chances (Bencik and Matmour) but Walke can't keep letting in these bad goals...Lately it hasn't been so bad because when he's letting in the weak goals, we've been up by 2 goals usually(games against Jena and Koblenz for example)...but this time it REALLY ********ed us over...that should be OUR 3 points, if this team wants to make it to first liga...and then SURVIVE...We need a new keeper.

Osnabrueck came back and tied the match at 3 before Fuerth scored 3 unanswered to win it. So, if you call that "laying the smack down", go right ahead! LOL!!
