This tourney has some serious sponsors. Sao Paulo's official site (spfc.com.br) seems to be down right now, but their announcement listed several large multi-national corps as sponsors. SPFC also has its own local commercial interests in Korea, so, if nothing else, they'd probably be glad to show up and play Seongnam Ilwha and the Galaxy. Also, the Rev Moon may be better at organizing big events than FIFA.
I'm far more concerned about the fact that it's being held on the Korean peninsula. North Korea is no longer "on it's best behavoir" like it was during the World Cup.
