HT website says Thorrington "is set to come into contention" for a place in the squad, whatever that means. Probably he'll be on the subs bench.

Both club sites have audio, but not for free.

Huddersfield Examiner reports Thorrington on subs bench.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but HT just gave away their team captain on a free transfer (to save on wages). Clearly, the club is in deep.

    0-0 at the half.

No goals, no cards, no subs.
Kind of makes following it on skysports.com even more bland than usual.

Thorrington on at '57 for Irons.

Huddersfield is still on the bottom of the table.

Consecutive 1-0 victories may give Wadsworth some breathing space as well.

That does not look to fun for Huddersfield.

Atleast they have a game in hand on a couple of teams ahead of them.

It was a Thorrington cross that was handled leading to the penalty. No other mentions of John in the match report.

He got some time and made a positive contribution leading to a much needed 3 points. That can't be bad.

Wasn't he a starter for Huddersfield at one time?

Not only was he a starter, he was possibly the best player last year. I don't know what the fukk happened, but his world has been turned upside down.
