Re: Re: Re: 2/28/03: One more Month Well, I expect nothing less then incompetence from a Fire fan, so thanks for brightening my morning. But we in Morris County are always taking a back seat to those Morrison County folks. Some day, the winds will change and they'll be smelling the scent of our refuse pile!!
"The Earthquakes' July 30 home match against Dallas has been moved to July 26, a Saturday." Nice - was a Wednesday match. I also noticed yesterday that KC made two similar moves (moving matches from mid-week to Saturday). Also, another high profile event for the HDC. Or Victoria St.
thanks Mr. Bandwagon that one popped up after the fact... but nice to see a story from them, i think it's been some time coming
Man, living in or near Carson would be awesome for a soccer fan. Got MLS All-Star Game and MLS Cup this year and now the 2004 College Cup finals. Not to mention that at least one WC2006 qualifier will be played there next year (nothing announced but I'd be willing to bet USSF can't pass up this site). And the weather. Indiana has never seemed so bad as it does right now.
huh? you live fairly close to columbus... college cup next year, they will definitely get qualifiers and other matches... and unlike l.a., you'll notice a homefield advantage at columbus if it's not the canucks, i don't know who the u.s. could play in la for a qualifier
Off topic here, but by deriding my state of residence, I was refering to the weather. Should have made that clear. Tired of 30 degree days. Cannot wait for Spring weather. Yeah, I'm about two hours from Chicago (with traffic) and roughly eight hours from Columbus, so I have good soccer near me. But to live in California sunshine within distance of (within fourteen months) the All-Star game, MLS Cup (had tickets to 2001 in Columbus but something came up and I just could not go--still a bit upset at that), and College Cup (NCAA soccer not that great, but I'd go to the championship if it was within an hour or so).
