The country is littered with fans, coaches and writers who have written off Preki. But I am going to do it right now. No way he scores 10.

Now I admit he played a couple blinders last year and somehow kept his game together. But in many 2nd halves of games last year his mouth was gaped open, he looked pale - like he was about to pass out.

He tries harder than Valderamma to move around and that is why I think he can't go another year.

I doubt Kovalenko will score ten.

I already have a bet this season on McBride hitting the 10 goal mark. I'd be stunned if he didn't.
No way Dema gets 10. Absolutely no way.

Well, if no Burn besides Kreis cracks double digits, that will add another dimension to the Jeff Bradley Burn Curse, which so far as I know has so far been limited to failed playoff runs after JB predicts a championship.

How many times did you see preki play last season? I personally saw in one week Preki go 90+ in one game, then 3 days later go 100+ in another game and was still making people fall over themeselves with the predictable left cut. Granted he wasn't playing much defense and was sucking down water when the ball was in the wizards have of the feild.

I think Preki is one of those players who benefits most from the slower speed in MLS compared to some of the Euro leagues. The guy's skill is top notch for the league-- really. The only way he won't have a good season (20 points or so) is if he's injured. Bradley's call is dubious only because KC might already have plenty of passing options up front-- maybe he won't finish the chances, but I'm sure he'll provide them.

I also don't know how y'all can be so sure against Kovalenko... His finishing can be awful, but DC, unlike last year, looks like a team that could generate alot of chances...

Looking at the list of possible goal-scorers this season and considering the usual suspects like Donovan, Mathis, Twellman, and Ruiz, this season could prove to be quite explosive.

Do you think the Burn cringe everytime Bradley says something positive about the team? He's like an ongoing curse to their chances. I predict the season that Bradley writes about how screwed up things are in Dallas is the season they win the Double.

Out of all the pictures you have in your footy of Preki, you have to go and choose the one with a Fusion badge.

I saw maybe 6 or 10 Wizards games last year including the 2 you refer to. Hey - he made Dallas look ridiculous one game last year.

But some games he was gasping for air - he looked all skinny and pale and his skin was sagging. He just looked old to me - but somehow he played pretty good.

I just don't think he can keep it up and get 10 goals this year. If Preki and 10 goals was an over/under in Vegas - I would bet the under.

Add to that the loss of two veteran keepers...

Preki may be older, but he has a better chance at getting ten goals this year (and Dema has better chance getting fifteen) then Chris Albright has of getting two.

I think Stewart could end up the leading goalscorer for United this year. Faria in years past has needed way too many shots on goal in order to finish one for me to think he can hit ten for the Fire. Razov, probably, but not Faria unless Dave can really do something for him.

I think Mathis, if he can stay injury free, should get between twelve and eighteen. He will be on fire since he wants to impress those foreign clubs before his contract expires.

McBride better have a good year. If he can get four for Everton in under two months of Premiership action, he should be able to get at least 7 or 8 for the Crew by mid-August.

My bold prediction: every single club in MLS will have at least one player with ten goals or more this season.
