Was there any doubt Preki would not be up to the challenge? SURVIVOR'S STORY - Miami Herald Wow, just wow...........
Yikes. Don't get me wrong, and no offense to Preki or KC, but that's going to be really, really hard for a 40 year-old to come back from. If any 40 y/o professional athlete can do it, it's Preki, but that's going to be really friggin tough.
Re: Re: 2/25/04 Happy to see less of him On the bright side Kreis is 29 points behind Preki on the all-time scoring list. Kreis' best season since '99 is 35 points. You have to think Preki would like to retire with that record in tact on his terms. Nobody else is even close to those two.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/highs...936.story?coll=la-headlines-sports-highschool Nice article on a pretty rare thing - female coaches of male soccer teams. I actually know the Belmont coach a little - a tiny, tough cookie who walks the halls of the school in her coaching outfit, ready to invite anyone to come watch her boys play. Pretty cool.
