His sixth of the season. Four more, and that's a two-match ban, if my memory is correct...

From the text updates it sounds like Hannover finds a way to lose this one. They arent in the relegation zone this moment, but they are sitting on the edge, losing to a team they are in direct competition with. Cant keep throwing away points, or they will be relegated.

Unfortunately I was at the AWd Arena to watch this game.
    It was so terrible.
They have been dominant against Hamburg but today they had at least 10 big, great chances to score and they still managed to lose this game, I have never been so disappointed after a soccer match my whole life.

This team is stupid, they need like 1000 chances to score one goal, Leverkusen had three chances and scored two.

After the goal by Simak of all people the referee blew the whistle and I knew I had to leave the area as quickly as possible because people were really really angry and everybody knows what anger and too much beer leads too, I'm pretty sure, police will have a busy evening.

If they continue to lose games like this they will be relegated, no doubt about that.

Well, there's still some time left in the season, and perhaps someone will find a scoring touch.

How did CC look in his 25 minutes?

You owe $20 to Buff :) He didn't look too good at the first goal as he allowed the cross of Babic to Schoof without showing lots of will to really try, but he absolutely had no chance at the great second goal that was a co-production of Neuville and Simak.

The game itself had about 60 to 70 minutes absolute superiority of Hannover, which could have scored many goals in this time. Especially - which might be good for Casey - Kaufman missed two giant chances to secure the lead, and it is pretty safe to assume that a two goals lead would have been the end for Bayer. When Casey came in, Hannover already seemed to be run out of power.

I don't think that any of the two teams will relegate though. Hannover is too strong and all they need is scoring some of their many chances. They won't have that much bad luck much more often. For Bayer I think that this can be the key victory of this season - playing bad over 70 minutes, having much luck and winning somehow. This will give them self-confidence alone by the fact that they realise that they are not only having bad luck and are rewarded if they are fighting until the end - consider that they'd be last ranked now if the ref had done the final whistle one minute earlier.

I can't remember Hannover having any attack during this time anymore. After the game I didn't even know that he played.
