And here we are, what we've all been waiting for.

Here's the PbP thread... for at least the first half of the match, or 500 posts, whichever comes first. :)

Didn't need to be Nostradamus to predict that lineup.

I don't fancy Ching either. I am sure Bob is sticking with Ching because he has played countless times up top with Landy. They do combine well at times, and I am sure Bob does not want to roll the dice with an Altidore/Landy combination to start the game.

I hope we see Altidore in the second half when we are up by two goals.

Bradley has put the best 11 on the field. Now it is up to the guys to execute. C'mon USA!

So, who are the subs? Obviously, it depends on what happens in the game. We'll definitely see Altidore for Ching - 90 mins as a lone striker is too much to ask for someone who is still in his preseason. I think we may see Torres as well, for either Beasley or one of the CMs.

Yeah, he's only the USA's leading scorer in 2010 WCQ qualifying, can't imagine what anyone sees in him...

Dempsey on the right, Donovan right behind Ching (according to what Ives posted on his blog.)

    Lineup, from ussoccer.com's matchtracker:

    -----------------------Ching----------------------
    ------Beasley----------Landon-----------Dempsey-------
    ---------------Klejstan----------Bradley---------------
    ----Pearce--------Boca------Gooch-------Hejduk------
    -----------------------Howard------------------------

    Comments, and match predictions?

And any links to live streaming video would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it isn't the freezing temperatures we had hoped for but maybe the severe wind and rain(if any) will give us a slight edge...lol Mexico has dropped their last 4(5?) matches, they are beatable. Play well guys so we don't have to hear from the el tri posters for the next 3 months.

Re: Starting Lineup 2/11 v. Mexico

Ching makes sense at this point, as does Bradley. Changing the line up prior to the biggest game in the Hex would not make sense.

Having a guy like Ching could be a real asset during a game like this. When Mexico decides to attack, we'll need to drop numbers behind the ball. If Ching can do a solid job holding up play, as he normally does, we should be able to build our attack around him and have plenty of space for guys like Donovan, Bease, Dempsey, and Kljestan.

Torres' day is coming...but it's Mike for now.

I'm so freakin' pumped...I'm watching the pre-game on Univision. I was there last time we played ('05) & would've been there again, had it not been for school.

    Come on, Yanks!!!

The Columbus Crew from now on could be called Little Albania.
